Set event colors

You can set the colors for event severities, which appear in the Events pane, Events tables, and the Event Details page on your AVEVA PI Vision site. You can also set the color for the Acknowledge button, which appears in Events tables and on the Event Details page. Browse to the AVEVA PI Vision Administration website.

In the menu, select Display Defaults.

Select the Event Colors tab.

To enable color for a severity level, select the check box for that level.

To specify the color for each severity, do one of the following:

Enter the CSS name in the box, for example, red.

Enter the hex color value in the box, for example, #ff0000.

Enter the RGB value in the box, for example, rgb(255, 0, 0).

Select the color rectangle to use your web browser color picker.
The color rectangle updates to the specified color.

To specify the color for the Acknowledge button, do one of the following:

Enter the CSS name in the box, for example, red.

Enter the hex color value in the box, for example, #ff0000.

Enter the RGB value in the box, for example, rgb(255, 0, 0).

Select the color rectangle to use your web browser color picker.
The Acknowledge button updates to the specified color.

When you have finished specifying event colors, select Save.
The new event colors are shown when AVEVA PI Vision is opened in a browser and when an open browser is refreshed.
