As an administrator, you can restrict access to PI AF databases for one or more users. Once database access is restricted, the user will not be able to browse or search that database in AVEVA PI Vision Assets pane. However, data from existing displays can still be viewed by these users.
-
On the AVEVA PI Vision Administration website, select User Settings in the navigation tree.
-
Select the Restrict Database Access tab.
-
On the database list, select the PI AF database to which you want to restrict access.
-
In the User column of the table, select the check box next to each user whose access to the PI AF database you wish to restrict.
Note: Only users who have accessed at least one display in AVEVA PI Vision appear in the User column.
-
Select Save.
