View child events in Gantt chart

  • Last UpdatedNov 14, 2022
  • 2 minute read

The Gantt chart illustrates each event with a color-coded bar. The position and length of each Gantt bar reflects the start time, duration, and end time of the event. The legend marker in front of the Gantt bar and its color corresponds to the legend marker and color of the event in the Events pane. If an event contains child events (sub-events), a plus icon Plus icon will be displayed in front of the Gantt bar. If you zoom in on an event comparison trend, the corresponding area of the Gantt chart is highlighted. If you pan an event comparison trend, a dotted line and gray shading indicate the area of the Gantt chart not shown trend.

  • To view child events on the Gantt chart, click the plus icon Plus icon on the Gantt bar of the event you wish to analyze. Child events are shown as segments beneath the Gantt bar of each event.
