Add text

To add text to the display, enter Design mode.

On the editing toolbar, click the Text icon
and then click anywhere in the display.
The Format Text pane opens.

On the Format Text pane, enter your text in the text field to create a label on the display.

Select the Bold button to bold the highlighted text.

Select the Italics button to italicize the highlighted text.

Select the Clear Formatting
button to remove bolding, italicization, and size changes from the text.

If you are adding a navigation link to the text, you can select the Use navigation link address check box to show the address as your text.

Select Wrap text if you want the text to automatically wrap to the next line.

Under Font, select your preferred font from the Name dropdown.
Note: If the selected font is not installed on a user’s system, an alternative font will be used by the browser. Roboto and Roboto Slab are installed with PI Vision, so will display consistently for all users.
To change the font size:

Select or enter a size in the Size dropdown.

Use the Increase Font Size
and Decrease Font Size
buttons to change the size incrementally.

Under Style, select the colors and angle:

Fill: Select the color of the text box.

Text: Select the text's font color.

Rotation: Rotate the text using the rotation slider.

Angle: Enter the rotation angle into the field.

Click the down arrow
at the top of the pane and then click the option to add a multi-state or a navigation
link to the symbol.
