Windows authentication in an OpenID Connect environment

If PI Vision uses OpenID Connect authentication but one or more data servers for PI Vision require Windows authentication, you may be prompted to provide your Windows credentials to access data on some pages.

To provide your Windows credentials before you are prompted, select your user name in the top bar, then select Enter Windows credentials.

After your Windows credentials are entered, you do not need to provide them again during the session. When you select your user name in the top bar, the text Windows credentials appears followed by a checkmark icon to indicate that your Windows credentials have been provided. Hover over the text to view your Windows user name.
