Generate a "Calculation usage information" report

The Calculation usage information report provides detailed information about all PI and AF calculations used in AVEVA PI Vision displays during a specified time range. Use this information to identify and troubleshoot resource-intensive calculations. Follow the steps below to generate this report.

Note: If you find that your system performance is negatively affected by excess use of calculations, you can restrict your users' calculation usage from the Administration website. For more information, see Restrict the use of calculations.

1. Browse to the AVEVA PI Vision Administration website.

2. In the menu, select Reports.

3. Under the Calculation usage information section, set the time frame for the report.

4. To generate a .CSV file that you can analyze locally with spreadsheet software, select Export.
