Add data point (event) to stream

You can manually write data points to a stream by completing a form. In this context, a data point and an event mean the same thing: a single row of stream data, such as property values associated with a timestamp. This use of event refers only to stream data and should not be confused with an Event Management event. Use this feature for manual data entry.
-
In the navigation rail, select Data stores.
-
From the Change data store dropdown, verify that the data store instance containing the resources and data you want to work with is selected.
-
Select the Streams card.
-
From the data table, select the stream that you want to add a data point to.
-
From the side sheet, select More options
and then select View.
-
Select Add Event.
-
Complete the Add Event form, entering a value for each stream property. The fields for the form differ based on the stream type that the stream derives from.
Tip: Each field in the form lists the primitive data type valid for the property.

Select Save.
