View a group

View detailed information about a group from its Group page. This page includes the following tabs: Users, which lists users included in the group; and Role assignments, which lists the role assignments applied to the group.

View a group

  1. In the navigation rail, select Access.

  2. Select Groups.

  3. Select the group that you want to view details for.

  4. In the side sheet, select View group .

    The group details page opens, displaying the Users and Role assignments tabs.

Users tab

To view and manage group users, select the Users tab. The data table lists users. Select a user from the table to view more information about them in a side sheet.

Users tab data table columns

The data table includes the following columns:

  • Name: The full name of the user included in the group. If the user has a display name configured, the display name appears instead.

  • Email: The email address for the user.

The side sheet contains the following fields:

  • Email: The email address for the user.

  • ID: The system-generated unique identifier for the user.

Role assignments tab

To view role assignments for the group's identities, select the Role assignments tab. The role assignments apply to all identities in the group. To display more information about a role assignment in the side sheet, select it in the data table.

The data table includes the following columns:

  • Name: The name of the role assignment.

  • Definition: The role applied to the role assignment. Defines the scope of access for the group's identities.

  • Applied to: If the role assignment has been applied to a site or a folder it is included here.

Role assignments tab side sheet fields

The side sheet contains the following fields:

  • Assignment ID: The system-generated unique identifier for the role assignment.

  • Role: The role applied to the role assignment. Defines the scope of access for the group identities.

  • Assigned to: The system-generated unique identifier for the group that the role assignment is applied to.

Tips

  • In the data table, use the Filter by keyword field to find a specific resource.

  • In the side sheet, select Copy copy icon to copy a field value to your clipboard.
