When an event occurs in a service instance in CONNECT, it creates a log detailing the event. The Logs page allows you to view these logged events.
View system activity logs

In the navigation rail, select Account. Then select Logs.

Select the System activity tab.

Refine the logs that are listed by editing filter panel settings. You can refine filters to return logs based on date, log severity, service instance, service type, or other criteria. For more information on available filters and how to use them, see Logs query panel.
View audit logs

In the navigation rail, select Account. Then select Logs.

Select the Audit tab.

Select Go to the Audit logs original page to launch the original experience..
Note: Audit logs are undergoing enhancements in the Early Access experience, so you must access audit logs in the original experience. To return to the Early Access experience, select My profile
, then select Switch to Early Access experience.
System activity data table columns

Timestamp: A record of the time and date when an event happened.

Event ID: A unique identifier for a specific action or occurrence.

Identity type: The type of the identities associated with the event. Can be User, Client, or Service account.

Severity: The level of impact the event has on the applications functionality.

Information: Provides user with important details or updates.

Warning: Indicates a potential issue that needs to be addressed.

Error: Notifies user when a unexpected problem occurs.

Identity: The name of the identities associated with the event.

Message: The information sent within the application detailing data to a user.

Service Type: The type of service the log was written by.

Service Instance: The name of the service instance that wrote the log.

Trace ID: A unique identifier assigned to a user request that allows the user to track a request and pinpoint issues.
Tips

In the data table, use the Filter by keyword field to find a specific property of a log. You can filter by Timestamp, Event ID, Trace ID, User, Message, Severity, Service Instance, Service Type.
