To create a trend session
-
In the navigation rail, select Data stores.
-
From the Change data store dropdown, verify that the data store instance containing the resources and data you want to work with is selected.
-
Select the Streams card.
-
Select one or more stream that you want to visualize in a trend session.
-
From the side sheet, select More options
. Then select View in trend.
The streams open in trend in a new tab.
Next steps
Your trend session is created. Now you can use the trend controls to select range of data to visualize. You can also use the other trend controls to refine the visuals. For more information, see Trend session controls.
Tips
While viewing a trend session, you can switch to a different stream storage instance to plot data from streams in that instance. Select Change instance and then select the service instance you want to use in your trend session and select OK.
Then you'll need to add streams to the trend session using the Add traces side sheet.
