Within CONNECT, you can create trend sessions, which are visualizations of your stream data plotted on an interactive time-series chart. Within each trend session, you can add one or more traces to visualize your data.

A trace is a stream plotted on an interactive time series chart as a line. Each trace added to the chart is visually distinct, differentiated by color, allowing for the easy identification and comparison of multiple streams within the same chart. A trace typically represents the variation of a single variable over time. Traces are key in these charts, enhancing interoperability through their visual representation and interactivity, such as toggling visibility or displaying detailed data points within tooltips.
