To support data protection initiatives, you can restrict the geographical location where new service instances are deployed.
To manage geographies

In the navigation rail, select Account and then select Settings.

Select Manage Geographies.

Select or clear the geographies available for service instance deployment.

Select Save.
Tip: Select an Instance summary link for a geography to browse to the Services & applications page, which is filtered to display service instances deployed to the geography.
Geography constraints

The home geography—the geography where your account was initialized and deployed—cannot be disabled or changed. This geography is denoted in parenthesis: (Home).

Disabling a geography prevents new service instances from being deployed to it, but does not disable or delete existing service instances that are active within it.

Disabling a geography removes it as a selectable option when completing Create service or application instance.
