Search

Use search to find entities and streams. Search is applied to the item name, description, alias, metadata, properties, and component type IDs.

To search

1. Select the search button from the application bar, or select the search box on the home page. The placeholder text displays class types that are available for search; all types are shown by default.

2. Enter a search query.

3. (Optional) Use the filter buttons to narrow search results by class.

Search uses an AND operator to find matching attributes in your query.

For example, if you search for "CAT DOG", items that include "cat dog", "dog cat horse", and "catfish dog" will appear in your results.

Interact with search results

The first 10 items that match the search criteria display.

The second line of the search result shows the field content that contains the matching text (for example, description, alias, metadata, or tags), with the matching terms highlighted.

Select Show more to open the full page search, which displays up to 100 search results per page and allows for additional filtering capabilities.
