The account category in CONNECT provides administrative tools for managing your platform environment, configurations, and operational status. These features help you control how the platform is deployed and monitor its activities across your organization.
Services and applications offers a centralized inventory of all your service instances within the CONNECT platform. Here, you can provision new service instances as your needs expand, manage existing ones, and decommission instances that are no longer required. This capability gives you complete control over which platform services are active in your environment and how they're configured.
Manage Geographies allows you to configure where your data is stored and processed across different regions. This feature helps you maintain compliance with data sovereignty regulations and optimize performance by strategically locating services closer to your operations or users. You can establish policies that govern where new instances are deployed and where different types of data can reside.
Logs provides visibility into platform activities, capturing important events and actions across your service instances. These logs offer valuable information for troubleshooting issues, auditing system changes, and understanding usage patterns. By examining log data, administrators can monitor system health, investigate anomalies, and verify that the platform is operating as expected.
Together, these account features give you comprehensive control over your CONNECT environment, enabling efficient administration of your industrial data platform.
