Audit messages can be viewed by the accounts in a community. Owner account and invited account will have different audit views in a community.
Note: Accounts can view the activities of the other accounts but not the identity of the users. Only the account name is visible.
The owner account can view changes to:
-
A community it owns
-
Invitations it sends
-
Services it owns
The invited account can view changes to:
-
Communities it participates in
-
Invitations it receives
-
Services that have been shared with it.
Audit messages for accepted terms and conditions
Audit messages are delivered when the terms and conditions associated with communities are accepted. The messages you see in the log will depend on the current status of the invite process and the account type that views the audit log. Some examples of the audit messages are:
-
Invitation created (Owner):
{username} created account invitation {account name} in community {community name} after agreeing to the features and limitations associated with the use of communities by selecting a checkbox or calling the API directly
-
Invitation created (Invited account):
{account name} created an account invitation in community {community name} after agreeing to the features and limitations associated with the use of communities by selecting a checkbox or calling the API directly
-
Invitation accepted (Owner):
{account name} accepted an account invitation to community {community name} after agreeing to the features and limitations associated with the use of communities by selecting a checkbox or calling the API directly
-
Invitation accepted (Invited account):
{account name} accepted an account invitation to community {community name} after agreeing to the features and limitations associated with the use of communities by selecting a checkbox or calling the API directly
Important: We recommend configuring communities through the CONNECT user interface. The audit log includes information about accepting the terms either through the UI or the API, however, there is currently no support provided for the configuration of communities through the API.
