You can sign in to CONNECT using your registered email address and password, using your organization’s single sign on, using a sign-in link, or through a connection code.
Note: Sign in with a connection code is applicable to users who are authenticated using a federated connection. If you are a first-time user of CONNECT, you must register before you can sign in. For more information, see Register with CONNECT.
If you attempt a sign-in ten times consecutively with a wrong password from the same location (IP address), then your CONNECT user ID is blocked. If this happens, contact AVEVA Global Customer Support to unblock your CONNECT user ID.
You can only sign in to one account at a time. You must sign out from one account before signing in to another account.
To sign in to CONNECT:
-
Access the CONNECT sign in page.
If you are accessing the CONNECT sign-in page directly by following the https://connect.aveva.com/#/ URL, select the Sign in option on the Home page.
(OR)
If you are signing in immediately after registering, select Sign in.
-
Enter your registered email address and password.
Note: If you are signing in for the first time after the introduction of AVEVA's Corporate compliance policies, you are prompted to provide your company information before you sign in. You can only sign in after your CONNECT user ID has been screened for the compliance policies. For details about the company information prompt, see Register with CONNECT.
If your organization has opted for single sign on, then you can sign in to your CONNECT account by using your corporate credentials.
-
If you are a non-federated user:
-
If you have activated multifactor authentication (MFA), follow the instructions on screen to enter the one-time password generated by the authenticator app on your device. Optionally, select the Remember this device for 30 days checkbox to skip multifactor authentication for thirty days on the device you are signing on. Select this option on your personal devices only, never on shared devices.
If you don't have access to the device with the authenticator app, select Try another method and then Recovery code to enter your recovery code instead.
You can only use a recovery code once. Once used, a new recovery code is generated to replace the it. Make sure to safely store the new recovery code. -
If you haven't activated multifactor authentication, you will be asked to do so. See Enable multifactor authentication for more information.
If you are a federated user, multifactor authentication may be available to you in accordance with your company policy.

-
After a successful sign in, the list of accounts that you are a member of is displayed.
Some accounts may enforce MFA and cannot be accessed by non-federated users without a registered MFA device. To access these accounts, ensure you register a multifactor authentication device.
Note: If you have multiple user identities and do not find the required account, you can try by switching your user identity. Select signing in with a different user ID and try signing in with another CONNECT user ID. This option is only available if your CONNECT user ID a member of more than one account, and if your organization has configured the Switch User functionality. For information on how to configure the Switch User functionality, contact your local AVEVA representative.

Select the account you want to sign in to. You are signed in to that account. If you are a member of only one account, you are signed into that account automatically.
