Create a folder

To create a new folder:

From the site navigation menu, select Folder management.

On the Folder management page, select Add folder if you want to create a folder at the account level.
(OR)
If you want to create a sub folder, select the vertical ellipsis for the parent folder, and then select New Folder.

On the Add Folder area, enter a name for the new folder in the Folder name field.

Verify the region in the Region field or change it if required.
Note: For best performance and user experience, the folder must be created in the region closest to the users. The region cannot be changed after the folder is created. Select Change to select a different region.

Select an image for the folder. You can either upload an image from your computer or use a stock image. The image is used in the carousel of folders on the account home page.

Select Save. The folder is created.
To make the new folder usable, the following tasks must be performed:

Activate the services your users need to use in the context of the folder. For information on how to activate services, see Activate a service.

Assign service-specific roles to users so that the users have relevant permissions to use the service in the context of the folder. For information on how to assign roles, see User management.

To create a folder, run CONNECT and select Folder Management from the main menu.
Select the + Add folder button.
Type a name for the folder in the Folder name text box.
If the region for the folder isn’t correct for where your data will be stored, select Change.
Select the correct region from the Choose a region modal and then select Save.
Please note, you cannot make changes to the region after you have created a folder.
Every folder uses an icon to help you more quickly identify it at-a-glance. If you have a custom image you want to use, select the Upload image option and then select the Select an image to upload button.
If you would prefer to use a stock image for your folder, select the Select stock image button.
Select the Save button to confirm.
You have now created a new folder in CONNECT.
