Access tokens are authorization passcodes that can be shared with users of applications that are not yet integrated with CONNECT. As an Account Administrator, you can generate access tokens and share them with users. Users can then use the access token to integrate their systems with your CONNECT account.
The access token can be generated with the required access level, and therefore, can also be used for controlling the access of users who receive it. You can choose the level of access of the token and when it expires, as well as full control of Integration security. You can also remove tokens that are no longer required.
CONNECT enables creation of access tokens at account level and service level. Access tokens created at account level can be used by all applications within the CONNECT account, while those created at service level can only be used by those services.
