Accept a community invite

When an account is first added to a community they must accept the invitation before membership can be confirmed.

Accept a community invite

  1. When a Communities administrator for the invited account first logs in an invitation notification appears at the top of the page. The following options are available:

    • Accept: Select Accept to accept the invitation and proceed.

    • Dismiss: Select the X mark at the end of the pop-up bar to dismiss the invitation. The invitation notification appears when an Account Administrator signs in.

    • Decline: Select Decline to decline the invitation. Once declined, an invitation will need to be re-sent for it to appear again.

  2. A new dialog appears and prompts you to review the AVEVA product or Communities-specific service descriptions. Once reviewed, select the checkbox, followed by Accept.

  3. Wait for confirmation from the owner of the community. Until confirmed you are presented with a read-only awaiting confirmation page when attempting to access the community.

  4. Once confirmed, the invited account has access to the community.
