A Rate Plan defines the rate at which Flex credits will be deducted when a particular product is used by your users. Your active Credits agreement will outline the total number of Flex credits available to you, as well as showing you the rate plans for each product that is in use. You can view all this information from the Flex credits > Credits agreement page.
Each Rate Plan contains the following information.

Hosting Type |
Either Cloud if the product being used is a web-based application hosted in the cloud, or On-premises if the product being used is an application that is desktop-based and installed on premises |

Product Code |
A unique code assigned by AVEVA to identify the product |

Product Name |
A name assigned by AVEVA to identify the product |
|
Service |
(Optional) The name of a service associated with the product. If specified, then any fixed charges in the rate plan are applied for each folder where you have enabled the service. |

Rate Plan Name |
A name assigned by AVEVA to identify the rate plan |

Chargeable Type |
One of the following values: Product Used when the product is charged at a fixed rate of credits within a specific billing period. Resource Used when a charge is made for the use of resources associated with the product – for example disk storage space. User Used when the product is charged based on the number of unique users who use the product within a specific billing period. Note, a rate plan may contain more than one chargeable type. For example, it may contain a fixed monthly charge as well as a variable charge based on the number of unique users who use the product over a given billing period. |

Feature Set or Resource |
The name of the feature set or resource associated with a product to which the charge will apply. When the chargeable type is set to User, and a user makes use of a particular product feature, the appropriate feature set charge will be applied. When the chargeable type is set to Resource, and a particular resource is used, the appropriate resource charge will be applied based on the charging algorithm being used. |

Charging Algorithm |
Will be set to a predefined value based on the chargeable type that has been specified. |
|
Billing Period |
The time period over which recurring charges are made. Can be one of either Hour, Day, or Month |
|
Unit Threshold |
(Optional) If the number of unique users or resource units within the given billing period exceeds the given threshold value, then the associated unit price will be charged for any additional unique users/units. This provides a means for applying discounted rates based on the volume of unique users/units per billing period. |

Unit Price |
Indicates the number of credits that will be charged over the billing period for any of the chargeable types. If different Unit thresholds have been defined, a unit price will be specified for each threshold value. |

User Limit |
(Optional) Applies specifically to product licenses checked out using AVEVA's Licensing as a Service (LaaS). If specified, this indicates the maximum number of LaaS licences that may be granted. |
