Work with folders

The following points must be noted while working with CONNECT folders:

• Users of a sub folder do not inherit permissions of the parent folder. Similarly, the users of the parent folder do not automatically get access to the services of the sub folder.

• Although the folders are arranged in a hierarchy, the parent and sub folders are separate entities with no relationship.

• A folder can be edited to modify the name, and the folder image. Select the Edit Folder option to edit the folder name and/or image.

• You must be an Account Administrator to delete a folder. Select the Delete Folder option to delete the folder.

  Note: Before a folder can be deleted, all the services of the folder must have been deleted. A service is deleted only after the mandatory waiting period of 30 days from the date of suspension. For more information, about suspending a service, see Suspend a service.
