Delete a user

To delete a user:

  1. Select the Users option. The available users are listed.

  2. Search and filter down to the user you want to delete.

  3. Select the delete icon for user you want to delete and confirm. The user is deleted.

Automatic deletion of inactive users

Users are also deleted automatically when the following conditions are met:

  • They are not a member of a CONNECT account.

  • They have not been a member of a CONNECT account for at least two years.

  • They have not signed in for two years.

Users scheduled for deletion receive email notifications ninety days and seven days before their user is removed.

This video provides step-by-step instructions about how to delete a user in AVEVA Connect.

To delete a user, run AVEVA Connect, select the User Management icon in the main menu, and then select Users.

On the Users page, you can see everyone with an account in your AVEVA Connect instance.

Locate the user you want to delete and then select the delete icon.

Select Delete to confirm.

The user is now deleted.
