Core CONNECT user functionality

The following tasks can be performed by CONNECT users in various roles:

  • As an Account Administrator

    • Manage users, groups, and role assignments

    • Manage folders (and enable services within folders)

    • Subscribe to general release services in the service catalogue

    • Monitor credits usage

    • Set and manage credits budgets for account and products

    • Set an account logo, view account settings

    • Manage account access tokens

    • View usage reports and audit logs

    • Manage integrations between AVEVA products

    • Access the service applications menu (if enabled on the account)

    • Create, delete and manage service applications (if enabled on the account)

  • As an Account Administrator (Read only)

    • View users, groups, and role assignments

    • View folders (and services within folders)

    • View the service catalogue and see what services have been subscribed to

    • View credits usage

    • View credits budgets for account and products

    • View account settings

    • View account access tokens

    • View usage reports and audit logs

    • View integrations between AVEVA products

    • View service applications (if enabled on the account)

  • As an Account Authorized Officer

    • Subscribe to general release services in the service catalogue

    • Monitor credits usage

    • Set and manage credits budgets for account and products

    • View usage reports and audit logs

  • As a User Manager:

    • Manage users, groups, and role assignments

  • As a Report Viewer

    • View usage reports and audit logs

    • Export reports to CSV file

  • As an Application Manager

    • Manage applications

  • As an SCIM user

    • Manage users and groups using the SCIM API

  • All Users

    • View profile information

    • Update profile information, if you are a non-federated user

    • View CONNECT Help
