Suspend a service

Note: You must be an Account Administrator to suspend a service.

Based on the requirements of your organization, you can suspend a service to save Flex credits. When a service is suspended, users cannot access the service.

To suspend a service:

  1. From the site navigation menu, select Folder management.

  2. Select the folder for which you want to suspend the service.

  3. Locate the service you want to suspend.

    Note: Make sure that the users of the service are informed about the suspension and they have backed up their data.

  4. Slide the switch to the Off position to suspend the service. A message requesting your confirmation is displayed.

    Important: Read the message carefully. When a service is suspended, the role assignments for the service are deleted.

  5. If you are sure to continue with suspending the service, select Suspend. The service is suspended.

    Important: To prevent accidental loss of data, a suspended service is deleted after a waiting period of 30 days. Therefore, you cannot immediately delete a folder after suspending the services of the folder. A folder can be deleted only after the services of the folder are deleted (which happens automatically after the waiting period)
