To create access tokens:

  1. From the site navigation menu, select Integrations > Access tokens. The Access tokens page lists all the existing access tokens.

  2. Select Create access token. The Create access token page is displayed.

    Do the following:

    1. For the Description box, provide a description for the access token.

    2. For the Date that token should expire box, select a date on which the token must expire.

    3. For the Access Token Configuration box, select the role which you want to assign to the access token. Using this option, you can assign account-level roles such as Administrator or SCIM (System for Cross-Domain Identity Management).

Note: If you want to assign more than one roles to the access token, , see Create advanced access tokens.

  3. Select Create.

  4. After the token is created, copy the token and save it.

Note: AVEVA do not store access tokens, so if you leave this page before copying it, the access token is lost. In such cases, you must create a new access token.

  5. Select Done. You are directed back to the token list, where you can see all your access tokens. From here, you can add more tokens, or delete existing tokens which will invalidate them.
