View server and site information

All AVEVA on-premise licenses available via CALM are locked to a single server or site.

You can view servers and sites associated with your account, including management and license information, on the Servers/Sites page.

The Server/Sites page shows the following types of servers and sites:

  • AVEVA Licensing System (ALS) physical servers.

  • AVEVA Enterprise License System customer sites with related on-premise servers.

  • Licensing as a Service (Laas) automated servers.

To view all servers and sites

You can view a list of all servers and sites associated with your account on the Servers/Sites page.

  1. From the navigation rail, select Servers/Sites.

You can filter the data on the Servers/Sites page by:

  • Server or site name

  • Server or site status

Data table columns

The Servers/Sites data table includes the following columns:

  • Location: The location code for the server or site.

  • Licensing System: The licensing system used, such as AVEVA Enterprise Licensing System, AVEVA Licensing System, or LaaS.

  • Name: The server or site name.

  • Country: The country where the site or server is located.

  • Status: A status that indicates when the server or site is enabled.

  • Actions: A selection of actions that are used to interact with the site or server.

View or delete a license server or site

Use this procedure to view, manage, or delete license servers and sites from the Servers/Sites page.

  1. From the navigation rail, select Servers/Sites.

    The Servers/Sites page opens.

  2. Locate the server or site.

  3. Select one of the following actions:

    • View server details

      The Server/Site Details page opens. For information on how to edit a site from this view, refer to Edit an existing AVEVA Enterprise Licensing System site.

    • View active license lines

      The Active License Lines sheet opens. For more information, refer to View active license lines.

    • View server details (read only)

      The Server/Site Details page opens. LaaS server details are read-only.

    • Delete unused server

      You can delete a license server or site only if no licenses have been generated for it.
