Generate a new server ID for (for 3​.4​.375 and later)

Start Data Archive.

1. Open a command windows in \pi\adm.

2. Run piconfig. Enter the following commands:

   @tabl pisys,piserver
   @mode ed
   @istr name,serverid
   serverName,
   @quit
   

   Where serverName is the hostname of the PI Server. By leaving the serverid blank, a new random Server ID will be generated for you.
