Shut down the PI AF application service on AF collective servers

After stopping replication on the primary server and disassembling the PI AF collective, the next step is to shut down the PI AF application service on the machine that had been the primary PI AF application service computer. You may want to shut down the PI AF application service on any machines that had been in the PI AF collective as secondaries. This ensures your users do not accidentally connect to the secondary machine to make changes during the upgrade process.
