Reinitializing secondary Data Archive servers within a collective synchronizes the configuration database of each secondary server with the database of the primary Data Archive server.

We recommend that you reinitialize secondary Data Archive servers for your collective using PI Collective Manager. Reinitialize the secondary Data Archive server manually only if you do not have access to PI Collective Manager.
