Phase 3: Post-installation

The third phase of the installation process focuses on some post-installation tasks to help prepare your new Data Archive for proper operation. The tasks include verifying that the installation completed successfully, configuring nightly backups, synchronizing the time settings on the server, hardening the security around your deployment, and setting some tuning parameters.

Note: If you are planning on deploying Data Archive as a collective, perform these post-installation tasks first on the primary server. Then, perform the tasks for each secondary Data Archive server within your collective.
