Generate a license for standalone Data Archive upgrades

Prior to an upgrade, generate a new license file only if you are changing the hardware of your host machine, or if you have changed your licensing agreement with AVEVA.

1. Finalize the software and/or hardware upgrade on the Data Archive host machine. See Upgrade a Data Archive server.

2. Check the License Percent Match.

   • If the license percent match is 100%, there is no further action necessary.

   • If the license percent match is less than 100%, generate a new license file. See Generate a license activation file for a standalone deployment.
