Important: To prevent issues with database check-in's, perform this post migration task after a successful PI AF database migration to Azure SQL Database.

As a final step after migration, you must complete these steps if you created your Azure SQL database and schema using the PI Server install kit.

  1. As an administrator, open a Windows command prompt and switch to the \PIPC\AF directory.

  2. Enter afdiag /resetidentitycolumnseeds, then press Enter.

    The Identity column seeds are updated in the PI AF SQL Server tables.
