You must have administrator privileges on a computer to uninstall Data Archive.

This procedure describes how to uninstall Data Archive using the PI Server Maintenance wizard.

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel and select Programs and Features.

  2. Double-click PI Server <release> Installer.

    The Maintenance wizard for PI Server opens.

  3. Select Modify and click Next.

  4. Select the Server Roles tab if it is not already selected.

  5. Clear PI Data Archive and click Next.

  6. Click Uninstall or Modify.

    The Modify option appears if there are other PI Server components that you did not choose to uninstall.

    The uninstall process begins.

  7. After uninstalling Data Archive, you must manually remove Data Archive data and configuration files, including PI archives.
