As a final step, you need to register the CONNECT endpoints with the AVEVA Identity Manager. See Configure AVEVA Identity Manager for more information. As an alternative method, you can also use Windows PowerShell to register CONNECT endpoints with the AVEVA Identity Manager.
-
On the AIM node, open PowerShell window and enter the following commands:
$accessToken = ConvertTo-SecureString -String "<access token>" -AsPlainText –Force
-
Next, register the CONNECT endpoints with AIM:
Add-PcsAuthenticationProvider -ClientId <client id> -AccessToken $accessToken -Endpoint https://signin.connect.AVEVA.com -Name AVEVAConnect -ServicesEndpoint https://services.connect.AVEVA.com/
-
Restart the AVEVA Identity Manager.
Upon successful registration, the AVEVA Identity Manager can use CONNECT as the external identity provider.
