Option 1: Use the AVEVA Identity Manager certificate

The AVEVA Identity Manager (AIM) certificate must be copied to any PI Server node that does not reside on the same machine as the AIM server.

There are two options for copying the certificate:

1. Use Platform Common Services (PCS) to copy the certificates

2. Manually copy the AVEVA Identity Manager certificate to the PI Server node

Use PCS to copy the certificates

3. Install PCS on the PI Server node.

4. Use the Configurator to connect the machine to the AVEVA Identity Manager server.

5. Open the certificate store: In the Windows search bar, enter manage computer certificates .

   The certlm window opens.

6. Copy the desired AVEVA Identity Manager certificate from the certificate store.

7. Install the certificate on all PI Server nodes that will connect to AIM.
