Learn about Windows Credential Manager

In deployment scenarios where the Data Archive server exists in an untrusted Domain\Workgroup, a user can save the Windows credentials used for authenticating into that untrusted Domain\Workgroup in Windows Credential Manager. As a result, when the user connects to a Data Archive through Windows authentication and there is a saved set of Windows credentials for the network path of that Data Archive, the stored Windows credentials will be used in place of the user's actual Windows credentials.
