Learn about PI AF server maintenance

This section provides procedures you can perform to maintain your PI AF server, and contains the following information:

• PI AF server's SQL Server maintenance jobs

• Move the PI AF application service

  Note: The following features are not supported if using one of the cloud database platforms: AF Collectives and backups during upgrade. SQL Server maintenance jobs can only be run by cloud platforms that supports jobs. As an alternative, you can run the maintenance job manually using the AF Diagnostic utility's /MaintenanceJob parameter. See AFDiag utility parameters.
