Upgrade from previous versions

Upgrades to MES Model-Driven Application Content version 7.0 can only be performed from version 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0.

If upgrading from MES Model-Driven Application Content version 3.0 or earlier, you must first upgrade to version 4.0. Then upgrade from version 4.0 to version 7.0.

Note: Work Tasks Connector and Extension for MES is no longer required for the standard workflows that are included in the MES model-driven application content. However, if you are upgrading the MES model-driven application content and plan to move forward custom workflows that do use the MES Connector, you have to either modify those workflows to use the MES Web API or upgrade Work Tasks Connector and Extension for MES to the latest version.
