Package contents and versioning during updates

The MES Model-Driven application content package includes three types of artifacts:

• Versioned artifacts, which are forms and workflows.

• Non-versioned artifacts, such as lookups, grid configurations, and web API connections.

• Additional package files that are stored in the file system, outside of the Work Tasks database:

  • CSS files that control the look and behavior of form UI components

  • Text files that contain form labels for translation purposes

  • Java script files that contain scripts being invoked by forms

  • SVG files of icons used in some buttons

  • Help files
