You can indicate that a sample has been pulled. You can also undo the pull indication.
Pulling a sample indicates when the physical sample has been pulled (removed) from production. Note that the time at which the sample has been pulled can be different then when the sample record was created and when any measurement results have been recorded.
-
A sample can be pulled only if it is yet to be pulled and the sample status is Ready or Ready Warning.
-
Once a sample is pulled, its status changes to In Progress and the pulled time is entered in the Pulled At field in the Details panel.
-
It is not necessary that a sample be pulled to record and save result measurements for it.
-
The pulling of a sample can be undone; for example, if the pull was made in error, the pull did not actually occur, or the pull did not actually occur at the recorded time.
