Merge two utilization events

You can merge adjacent utilization events if it is determined that the events actually represent one event.

  • The selected event will have the same reason, raw reason code, and comment of the chosen previous or next event.

  • The comment in the selected event that was merged will be discarded.

Merge two utilization events

  1. Select the event that you want to merge with either the previous or following event (the selected event's utilization reason will be discarded) in the grid or chart.

  2. Select the Merge button or link.

    The Merge Reason dialog appears.

  3. Select the Left or Right direction button to determine whether the selected event will be merged into the previous event (Left) or the following event (Right). A Merge Left is shown below.

    Note that the event blocks lengths here do not represent the actual event time spans.

  4. Select Merge.
