Model Driven MES Job Management job summary area.

The job summary area provides the following information about the selected job in the grid.

  • Work Order Card (Work Order, Operation, Sequence Number, Job State)

    The entity card includes the work order, operation ID, and sequence number that identifies the job. It also indicates the entity on which the job is running and the job's state. The following list defines the possible states a job can have within the MES system:

    • Ready: The job is ready to start; all of the requirements for running the job have been met.

    • Running: The job is currently running on an entity.

    • Suspended: The job has been temporarily paused, typically in favor of another more important job.

    • Canceled: The job has been permanently stopped before being completed; a record of it is still maintained in the MES database.

    • Complete: The job has finished

  • Item

    The ID and description of the item that is being produced by the job.

  • Progress bar

    The count bar visually indicates the current production count status.

    Current production count

    The number of items currently produced.

    Expected count indicator

    Indicates the expected count based on the ideal production rate and the equipment's total Runtime since the run was started (entity Downtime and Idle time is excluded).

    Count status color indicators

    The color of the current count bar and the colored ranges at the bottom indicate the production status:

    • Red Behind the expected amount by more than 10%.

    • Yellow Within 10% of the expected amount.

    • Green Within the expected amount.

    • Blue Exceeds the required amount.

      Unit of measurement

      The production UOM.

  • Req. Qty.

    The total required quantity that must be produced by this job for the work order.

  • Deviation

    The deviation of what has been produced so far relative to the target production, which is based on Production Rate x Batch Size x Runtime.

  • Bad Production

    The total bad production so far.
