Connectivity Issues
If there are connectivity issues with any of the web applications—Central Configuration, the Enterprise Console repository list, and an Enterprise Console login session:
-
Verify that the URLs include the same host fully qualified domain name and that all are using secure SSL web connections.

-
Verify that the web browser is properly configured for secure connections, the correct SSL certificate, and that pop-ups and redirects are enabled.

-
Verify that Central Configuration and Enterprise Console are using the same port number. You can use the Work Tasks Farm Configuration wizard to check them. See Configure the Work Tasks Farm and Enterprise Console site settings.
Expected Data Not Appearing in the Web Applications
If expected data is not appearing in one of the web applications, make sure that the target environment reflects any installation or configuration changes by doing the following:
-
Reset IIS (Internet Information Service). Use the IIS Management tool or run the following command from the admin command prompt: IISRESET.
-
Clear you web browser cache (refer to your individual browser documentation for specific instructions).
Using Installed Shortcuts to the AVEVA Web Applications
You can use the web application shortcuts created by the installers. This includes the web application's entry in the Start menu and the Enterprise Console repository site link on the Enterprise Console Repository List page. When using these shortcuts, verify that the URL includes the host's fully qualified domain name. Not having the host's fully qualified domain name in the URL will cause issues when using MES model-driven application content.
