Reclassify inventory

Reclassify inventory by changing any of the following properties: item grade, item state, expiry date and time. You can reclassify all of the inventory of a selected inventory record or all of the item's inventory at a location. To reclassify inventory:

1. In the grid, select the item inventory record with the lot and location for which you want to reclassify inventory.

2. In the toolbar, select the Reclassify button.

   The reclassify inventory properties appear in the action panel.

3. Select the scope of the inventory to be reclassified: Selected Lot or Entire Location.

   • To reclassify the inventory for only the selected record, select Selected Lot.

   • To reclassify all of the inventory at the location specified in the selected record, select Entire Location.

4. Change the item grade, item state, and expiry date and time as needed.

5. Select Reclassify.

   Inventory records are created or updated as required, depending on which scope of inventory you selected.
