Add production

  1. Make sure that the job selected on the Queue tab is in a Running or Completed state.

  2. Select the Add button.

    The Add Production properties appear in the Action panel.

  3. Complete the properties.

    Item

    Read-only. The item whose production is being added.

    Production Type

    The type of production that is being added: Good or Rejected.

    This selection determines what reasons will be included in the Production Reason list.

    Qty. Remaining

    Read-only. The amount of the item that is left to be produced.

    Qty. to Produce

    The quantity to be produced by this job for the work order.

    Production Reason

    The reason that indicates why the item was produced.

    Lot

    The lot number for the item that was produced.

    If the Summary grid is displayed, the lot number defaults to the number entered using the Set Lot button. If the History grid is displayed, the lot number defaults to the selected production record.

    If not already expanded, select the expand button to see other lot-related properties.

    Sublot

    The sublot number for the item that was produced.

    Storage Location

    The entity at which the items that were produced are stored.

    Produce Time, Date Time

    Select Current to use the current date and time for the time of production, or select Custom and enter the time of production in the Date Time property.

    If adding production for a completed job, the time must be within the time period during which the job was running. By default, the date and time entered here for a completed job is when the job ended.

  4. When you have completed entering the add production properties, select Produce.
