View and manage the job queue

You view and manage the job queue from the Queue tab. The work orders listed here can be created from a process or a line.

Job Summary Area

Provides item, job, and production status information about the selected job (see Job summary). It also includes buttons to allow you to select the work order and entity whose jobs you want to display.

This area can be collapsed to hide it.

Action buttons

Details — Display details for the selected job in a Details panel.

Edit — Edit the selected job.

Delete — Delete the selected job.

Start — Start the job.

Suspend — Suspend a running job.

Cancel — Cancel the selected job.

Complete — Mark the selected job as completed.

Refresh — Refresh the Job grid.

Help — Opens the Job Management form help.

Filter control

Select the Filter button to open the Filter panel. The panel includes properties by which to filter the jobs in the grid. See Filter the job grid by job status.

Job grid

The current jobs for the applied filters (Status, Work Order, or Entity) are displayed in this grid. The grid appears with the action panel by default. When the panel is closed, the grid expands and occupies the space where the panel appears.

Action panel

The contents of the action panel changes, depending on what task is currently being performed in the tab.

  • If a job is selected, its details properties appear here, for viewing only.

  • When editing a job, its properties appear here for editing.

  • When filtering the jobs in the grid, the filter properties appear here.
