View and manage a work order's job BOM records

Note: The BOM tab is available only if an MES Operations license has been installed.

A job BOM (bill of materials) represents a logical grouping of the bill of material components that are associated with a particular job. A job BOM consists of produced items, consumed items, and by-products.

The BOM tab is available when a work order on the WO/PO tab is selected. It lists the job BOM records for the selected work order.

Note that job BOM records with a quantity of 0 are not displayed in the grid.

Details button

Display details for the selected job BOM in a Details panel.

Selected Work Order

The work order selected on the WO/PO tab and whose BOM data is being displayed.

Filter control

Select the Filter button to open the Filter panel. The panel includes properties by which to filter the job BOMs in the grid. See Filter the work order grid.

BOM grid

The job BOM records for the work order selected on the WO/PO tab are displayed in this grid. The grid appears with the action panel by default. When the panel is closed, the grid expands and occupies the space where the panel appears.

Action panel

The contents of the action panel changes, depending on what task is currently being performed in the tab.

• If a BOM record is selected, its details properties appear here, for viewing only.

• When filtering the records in the grid, the filter properties appear here.
