Update additional package files

Additional package files are stored in the appropriate folders within the Work Tasks application folder. When updating an MES model-driven application content version 4.0 package, the current additional files that would be overwritten are moved to the folder C:\ProgramData\MDM_MSIBackup before the new additional files are installed.

Note: Because the application folder path for Work Tasks has changed, when updating a package from a version prior to version 4.0, the additional package files of the previous version won't be affected. You will have to manually remove them.

Additional package files are not versioned. It is recommended that you do not change these files as upgrades overwrite them. If custom changes are required, you should create your own custom version of the new files or copy the existing custom files to preserve your modifications for future use, if needed.
