Add consumption for a BOM item

Select the BOM item for which you are adding consumption.

Select the Add button.

The Add Consumption properties appear in the Action panel.

Complete the properties.

Item

Read-only. The selected BOM item being consumed.

Qty. Remaining

Read-only. The amount needed to meet the standard quantity scheduled for the selected BOM item.

Qty. to Consume

The quantity to be consumed.

Consumption Reason

The reason that indicates why the item was consumed.

Lot

The lot number for the item that was consumed.

To see other lot-related properties, select the expand button.

To use the Inv button to select inventory from a specific lot and location from which to consume the item, see Select inventory from a specific lot.

Sublot

The sublot number for the item that was consumed.

Storage Location

The entity at which the items that were consumed are stored.

Consume Time, Date Time

Select Current to use the current date and time for the time of consumption, or select Custom and enter the time of consumption in the Date Time property.

If adding consumption for a completed job, the time must be within the time period during which the job was running. By default, the date and time entered here for a completed job is when the job ended.

When you have completed entering the add consumption properties, select Consume.
