The widget has some text convention requirements when defining the key-value pairs in the localization text file. The guidelines when working on the localization text file are described as follows.
-
Define the text items that must appear in Properties page of the Widget control (or container), which include:
-
Widget name - This is the name that appears in the drop-down list next to the Widget field in the Properties page.
-
Configuration filenames - These are the names that appear in the drop-down list next to the Configuration field in the Properties page.
If there are multiple configuration files, each one must be defined to be populated in the drop-down list.
-
Property names - These are the names that appear in the Advanced tab of the Properties page.
-
Event names - These are the names that appear in the Scripts tab of the Properties page.
-
-
Define the key-value pairs based on the following conventions. This is an example localization text file for the Split widget.
Pay attention to the text items in upper case format. This is the same way you must define your widget's key items.

-
After the text items for the Properties page, define labels, button names, messages, and so on.
